Jens Moritz

Senior Advisor

Jens is Senior Advisor of Rautenberg & Company. He joined the firm in the year it was founded and was, as Managing Partner and Head of the Frankfurt office, jointly responsible for its successful development. He is a very seasoned private equity professional and has many years of experience in all phases of the principal investing business – from executing buyouts and minority investments to the development of portfolio companies and the structuring and management of successful exits.

Upon the completion of his studies in business administration at Philipps University in Marburg in 1995, Jens started his professional career in the auditing arm of Coopers & Lybrand / PwC. In 1999, he moved on to private equity and joined BdW Beteiligungsgesellschaft für die deutsche Wirtschaft (Dresdner Bank Group). After several successful years with the private equity arms of two regional state banks (“Landesbanken”), he joined EQT Partners where he led the Frankfurt office and was the partner in charge of the German, Austrian and Swiss activities of the firm’s expansion capital fund.

Andreas Kindt

Andreas Kindt

Andreas is Senior Advisor in the Frankfurt office of Rautenberg & Company and advises private equity clients on issues relating to digital and technical assets and services in M&A and value creation.

In over 20 years in operational responsibility for functional areas as well as a managing director and AG board member, Andreas has been responsible for the development, delivery and marketing of digital and technical services. For over 10 years to follow, he has brought this practical experience into his role as a strategic but also implementation-oriented advisor for numerous customers.

Andreas holds a degree in industrial engineering and management from Technical University of Berlin. He started his career in 1987 at Nixdorf Computer. After several years at Detecon, he moved to Berkom GmbH as an authorized signatory and then to T-Systems as managing director of T-Nova. In 2001 he was appointed to the Management Board of T-Online International AG, where he worked as CTO / CIO until the merger with Deutsche Telekom AG in 2006. Two further years as CIO for T-Com / T-Home followed. In 2008 he became CEO of the Payback subsidiary Loyalty Partner Solutions and lead its development until the sale of the Payback majority to American Express at the end of 2010.

Since then, Andreas has been an independent advisor, specializing in digital business models and value creation through digital transformation. Since the founding of Rautenberg & Company, Andreas has supported the firm’s clients in transactions, focus on digital services and technical due diligences.

Hans-Stefan Kalinowski

Hans-Stefan Kalinowski

Senior Advisor

Hans-Stefan is Senior Advisor at Rautenberg & Company and advises clients in all aspects of M&A, Corporate Finance and Strategy.
 
He is a seasoned industry veteran with a strong finance and M&A background and looks back on a corporate career of more than 25 years, primarily in the recycling industry and environmental services. Most recently, he was the Managing Director and CFO of ALBA Services Holding GmbH in Berlin where he was in charge of the Services segment with more than EUR 700m in revenue. Previously, he served as ALBA Group’s Head of Finance, Controlling and M&A. Earlier steps in his career include Bayer Schering Pharma AG in Berlin and Schering AG in Berlin and in New Jersey, U.S.A.
 
Stefan holds a degree in industrial engineering and business administration from the technical university of Berlin.

Mark Broere

Mark Broere

Senior Advisor

Mark is Senior Advisor and works out of our Düsseldorf and Frankfurt offices.

He focuses on M&A advisory and deal execution, drawing on an extensive track-record of cross-border and domestic transactions involving mid-sized companies, private equity investors and stock-listed corporations. Mark has in-depth expertise in financial, valuation and buyout models.

Mark joined us from the M&A advisory and corporate finance partnership Bassewitz & Hochberg. He holds a degree in electrical engineering and management from the Technical University of Berlin and received a doctorate in business economics from BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. He has previously worked in mergers and acquisitions at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and Schröder, Münchmeyer Hengst & Co. Mark is a Professor of Finance at Leibniz FH School of Business in Hannover.
