In Germany, Q-Park operates through its subsidiary, Q-Park Deutschland, managing 169 car parks with a total of c.66,000 parking spaces. With this acquisition, Q-Park will further solidify its position as one of the leading players in the German market.
Bavaria Parkgaragen, a company of Blue Lion, the family office of the Munich-based Schörghuber family, is one of the largest private parking management companies in Germany and operates 26 parking facilities with more than 12,000 parking spaces. Bavaria Parkgaragen is active in numerous German cities, with particularly strong presences in Munich and Berlin, where most of its car parks are located in prime city centre locations. The company primarily manages and operates parking facilities for privately owned properties.
